The three countries at the bottom end of the Rainbow Europe Map are Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Armenia, exactly the same as last year.
For the sixth year in a row, Malta continues to occupy the number one spot on the Rainbow Europe Map, while Belgium comes second place for the fourth time, and Luxembourg occupies the third spot on the ranking for the third year in a row.
On a positive note, some countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia) now have points on freedom of assembly, reflecting improvements of safety for public LGBTI events.
After reporting positive changes in bodily integrity or legal gender recognition for many years, there is no change this year for intersex and trans rights apart from Iceland.
Despite clear commitments on rainbow family recognition, not one country has moved on partnership or parenthood recognition.
Against a background of hardly any positive change at all, countries such as Albania, Finland and Portugal have moved up in the ranking, but only because of very small changes implemented.

Work for the availability of rape crisis centers, counseling, and other resources.

Abuse and assault are terrible tragedies, X Research source and it's important that emotional support support and health care are available to victims. It is both dismissive of fathers and suggests that only women can raise children. It suggests that a father is the lesser caretaker. Stop using the term "sitter" for fathers.
A fathers does not "babysit" his children, he fathers them.
Both maternal love and paternal love are natural and valuable.
Fight the idea that women (and only women) have an innate maternal instinct. Some women are good with children, some are not, some men are good with children, and some aren't.
Whether a man is cooking, cleaning, gardening, or sewing, avoid the assumption that this is out of the gender norm. Challenge the notion that certain hobbies or activities should be done only by women or only by men.
Support men in their household activities.
Treat them like their decisions are completely normal and respectable.
Respect stay-at-home dads, or dads who put their family or their wife's career before their own.
A man caring for children should be regarded just as natural as a woman caring for children. Men can be wonderful fathers, uncles, grandfathers, babysitters, teachers, and nannies. Support men in fatherhood and child care roles.
